NANA/Colt Engineering, LLC at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks
(UAF) Job Fair 2004
As part of NANA/Colt Engineering’s outreach efforts to share
information about the company and to speak with college students
working towards their engineering degrees, Engineering Manager,
Jim Steward, and Human Resource Representative, Theresa Breuning-Azzam
hosted a booth at the 2004 UAF Job Fair held March 24 and 25th.
A large number of students attended the fair asking questions and
requesting information in hopes of obtaining future employment with
Alaskan companies. “I was very impressed with the enthusiasm
and knowledge of the UAF students”, states Ms. Breuning-Azzam,
“ it was wonderful to meet some of Alaska’s future engineers!”
Engineering Manager Jim Steward also visited with students in the
Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP). NANA/Colt
is proud of its involvement with this program during the last four
years. NANA/Colt supports the ANSEP program by its participation
in such programs as TALPA (Technology Applications and Learning
for Professional Achievement) and ALVA (Alliances of Learning and
Vision for Underrepresented Americans.

NANA/Colt Engineering joins the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce is a high profile organization with over
1200 members. The Chamber supports and coordinates activities and
programs, which benefit both the community and businesses.
Dianna McDowell, Manager of Business Services, will represent NANA/Colt
Engineering at the Chamber monthly meetings and other sponsored
activities.
Drafting Development Program
As
part of our commitment to Shareholder Development, NANA/Colt Engineering
has established a Drafting Development Program offering the
opportunity for shareholders to learn basic AutoCAD.
This exciting new program teaches the skills necessary to
create basic AutoCAD drawings through a process of classroom
instruction and on the job training in a working environment.

ConocoPhillips, Anadarko Announce Phase I of Alpine Capacity
Expansion
ConocoPhillips
and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation today unveiled plans to increase
oil production capacity at the Alpine Oil field on Alaska's North
Slope.
NANA/Colt Engineering, LLC has been chosen to perform the design
engineering for the Alpine Capacity Expansion Phase I (ACX1) Project.
This project, which will start up in late 2004, will increase both
the water and gas handling capacities of the plant.
